Chain reaction of Boeing production delay
Halted delivery: Due to Boeing’s airplane delays it will impact the likes of Southwest Airlines in the coming year.
Stuck with old: The airline carrier will now delay retiring some of its older Boeing planes along with shutting down operations at some airports.
Slowing down: Southwest mentioned it expects to end 2024 with 2,000 fewer employees than it had during 2023.
Electric vehicles to be made in Canada
Canadian auto: Honda plans to use $11 billion in Ontario, Canada to make an EV value chain.
Going EV: According to the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, Honda’s investment is the largest ever for Canada’s automotive industry to date.
Foreseeable production: The electric vehicle production was stated to begin in 2028. Honda’s EV plant will have a production capacity of an estimated 240,000 EVs per year.
Oracle is on the move again
Going right: According to Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison, the company is moving its world HQ to Nashville, Tennessee.
Previously: During 2020, Oracle moved its HQ from Silicon Valley to Austin, Texas.
Near completion: Oracle has been developing its Tennessee campus for about 3 years.
